No Data Collection Policy
Pixel Perfect Pro does not collect, store, or transmit any user data or personal information. The extension operates entirely within your browser and does not send any information to our servers or third parties.
How Pixel Perfect Pro Works
Pixel Perfect Pro functions by allowing you to upload design files directly to your browser. These files remain on your device and are never transmitted to our servers. All comparisons, measurements, and adjustments happen locally within your browser.
Browser Permissions
Pixel Perfect Pro requests only the permissions it needs to show your design over a web page. Here is exactly what each one is used for:
- Inject the overlay
scripting - Adds the extension's CSS and JavaScript to the page you are checking, so the design layer and its controls can be displayed on top of it.
- Save your hotkeys
storage - Saves the keyboard shortcuts you customize in your browser's built-in extension storage. This data is never sent to us or anyone else.
- Show the overlay on websites
Host permissions - Lets the extension place your design image as a layer in the page's DOM, so you can compare it with the live layout pixel by pixel. Page content stays in your browser and is never collected or transmitted.
- Show the overlay on local files
file://*/* - Lets you use the same overlay on HTML pages opened from your computer (file:// URLs), such as local builds. In Chrome, this only works after you turn on "Allow access to file URLs" in the extension's settings.
- Paste a design image
clipboard (optional) - Lets you add a design image by pasting it from your clipboard instead of uploading a file. This permission is optional: the clipboard is read only when you choose to paste, and the image stays in your browser.
These permissions are used solely for the functionality of the extension. They are never used to read, collect, or transmit your browsing activity, page content, or personal information.
Third-Party Services
Pixel Perfect Pro does not integrate with any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
